Product Description:Boiled fish, also known as boiled river fish and boiled fish fillets, is a famous dish in the Sichuan and Chongqing regions of China. It belongs to the Sichuan cuisine and was first popular in Cuiyun Township, Yubei District, Chongqing. Boiled fish is usually made from fresh grass carp, bean sprouts, peppers and other ingredients.
There are many ways to make it. The main raw materials are grass carp or black fish, dried chili knots, and Sichuan peppercorns. Some do not add Sichuan peppercorns, and some are paired with bean sprouts and other vegetables. The cooking method is to put the fish fillets into boiling water, cook them quickly, and then assemble them. Basin, pour boiling oil containing sauteed chili pepper and other seasonings.
It is a Sichuan dish that evolved from Sichuan cuisine and is called boiled beef or boiled beef. It is usually made from the large river fish of the area, Ctenopharyngodontus idella, but is also made from other fish species. The flavors of chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns combine to create spicy (en), "tingling and numbing", felt in this dish.
