Product Description:Sweet and salty, cold in nature. The feet are full of muscles, full of umami, and have a chewy taste, suitable for stir-frying and barbecue.
It is produced on the southeastern coast of China, Southeast Asia and Japan.
Variety:Dongfeng snails have a unique variety, with red and white shells, about 5 cm long and 2 cm wide.
Supply Season:It is available throughout the year, with peak production in late summer and early autumn.
Storage Method:Live snails should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place to prevent dehalogenation, heat and foreign matter contamination, and the storage time should not be too long.
#Should Be / Avoided:
Dongfeng snails are cold in nature and should not be eaten by people with spleen and stomach deficiency. People with liver disease and allergies should not eat snail meat.
*Food Compatibility:
Eating Dongfeng snails and clams together will irritate the stomach, because snails and clams are both cold foods, and eating them at the same time can easily stimulate the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in abdominal distension, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Cooking Tips:The edible part is the foot muscles inside the shell. After washing the dongfeng snails, scald them in boiling water for a while to remove the murmuring and hard lumps.
Notes:The snails can be soaked in 3% salt water for two hours before cooking, so as to spit out the sand and mud, so as not to affect the taste when eating. The dark part behind the snail meat is the viscera mass, which has obvious fishy smell and more bacteria. It is recommended to fully cook and not eat the viscera when cooking.
