Bianchetto literally stands for ‘white-ish’. It is a spring lemon, the fruit of the second flowering (starting in April): a more delicate perfume and taste, flattened round shape, semi-smooth light yellow skin, citrus yellow flesh.
Primofiori colour ranges from pale to dark yellow. Its texture is firm and juicy with few seeds. It has a strong lemon scent and its white albedo has a slightly sweet taste. Its juice is not too sour. It can be served in salad.

🐝 Supplier / Place of Origin: Sicilian small farmers direct Trepunti / Sicily, Italy
🔖 Certification: Italian and EU Organic Certification (BIO)
🌱 Manufacturer introduction:
Trepunti takes its name from a locality in Sicily situated between the foot of Mount Etna (the tallest active volcano in Europe) and the Ionian sea. There, is where it all began, where Jennifer, a girl from Hong Kong met and married Guido, a Sicilian organic farmer.
This area is known by Southern Europeans as an unique place for agriculture thanks to Mount Etna. The special composition, rich in minerals, of soil on our farm and the mild weather near the sea makes this area perfect for many crops, in our case for citrus, avocado and tomatoes. Also, Sicily is located in the center of the Mediterranean which makes it a paradise for food, especially Mediterranean diet.
As a conscious buyer, Jennifer pays great attention to transparency of supply chain because this is the holy grail to many of the problems like eating healthy food, waste reduction, sustainability, fair trade etc. Globalization lengthens the supply chain. Localization limits choices. Through her research on local and global agriculture, she realised that there can be a balance between globalization and localization, there is a Third Way - Glocalization. Knowing food origin is the answer. Over 80% of agriculture in Italy is carried out by small-scale farms, they rely mainly on middlemen and supermarkets to market their products. By which, farmers/producers are completely removed from the picture. Jennifer wants to reconnect consumers with farmers in order to shorten the distance and increase transparency of the supply chain. She wants to empower consumers with a critical mind when it comes to what they put into their body. We are what we eat!
Jennifer, who loves Hong Kong, has started to instill and practice the notion of glocalization, with an online store since 2019. She tries to connect Hong Kong consumers with her knowledge and stories about small farmers and share simple, healthy and delicious Sicilian recipes with them.

No pesticides are applied to the organic fruits, and it is normal to have flaws on the surface. We do not return or exchange products based on individual subjective factors (aroma, size, sweetness, etc.). However, if the fruit is damaged/damaged in a large area, we are happy to make return/exchange arrangements based on the degree of damage to the fruit. Please contact our store via Whatsapp/phone within 24 hours and send us the photo of the fruit in question.
Food is the reason for Jennifer to leave Hong Kong;
Food is the cause that links her up with Sicily
In 2016, she traveled to Sicily in search of an autonomous lifestyle and met her current husband, Guido. He and his family own a small organic farm with dozens of varieties of fruit in Sicily. Together with other small farmers, they are building a community to help one another. Yet, making a living with farms in Sicily is not easy and small organic farms in general are facing endless problems, from theft, bureaucracy, extreme weather to even the problem of agro-mafia.
‘Made in Italy’ seems to be a precious brand but the agro-mafia has been taking advantage of the long and intransparent supply chain. Problems like piracy, counterfeiting, cutting corners, exploiting labor, etc., are common factors causing havoc to the livelihood of local small farmers. To bring security to farmers is to bring security to our food but we cannot rely on measures or policies by governments. We have to build a community with farmers and customers, local and foreign alike, to shorten the supply chain, increase transparency, let consumers know the source of products and the production process, or visit the farm in person.
Therefore, they are the connection between farmers and consumers. They use their expertise in Sicily to bring you the best of Sicily products to Hong Kong and let you reconnect with real food.
