HomelandGreen – Be just to the earth for the good of all beings

HomelandGreen is a group of Hong Kong volunteers learning to live harmoniously with soil that nurtures all lives. They take part in greening projects and pursue agricultural practices that promote soil health.

As consumers in modern societies, everyone has contributed to man-made desertification and climate change. HomelandGreen aims at helping to make our homeland green again. Firstly, they plan to achieve land restoration by organizing tree-planting expeditions to stop deserts from encroaching the earth. Secondly, to conduct research projects in regenerative farming, and share results and findings with local practitioners to produce environmental-friendly, cost-effective nutritional farm products with a scientific approach. They will also share the science of soils and change public opinion on soils, plant health, and even lifestyles.

HomelandGreen introduces new ideas to students, interested parties, and professional farmers through education, workshops, study abroad, and consultancy services.
